Bad news: I'm going to be losing my job.

Why? My employer, BigLots suffered chapter 11 bankruptcy several months ago and now our hopes of rebounding has gone up in smoke since the company’s closing sales agreement with Nexus Capital has failed. As a result, going out of business & liquidation sales are now underway and we’re getting laid off soon.

I was hired back in May of 2021 and was able to start working almost immediately following an instant in-person interview after I inquired about their open positions. I stuck with them ever since and got a reliable source of income. As a result I was able to pull more of my own weight around the house and help out my family when needed.

I’ll still be employed but I expect things to officially end once everything gets sold and or enough time has passed, 2 months at most, just in time for the upcoming Trumpocalypse / Muskagedden.

Dark days are ahead…

Another reason to join the X-odus asides Musk using Twitter/X to interfere in the 2024 election via lies and disinformation along with Russian propaganda; AI generated art is now a thing on it via Grok 2!

I look forward to seeing many Twitter artists finally abandon ship, if not sue for art theft.

Officially set up shop on Cara, treating it as a contingency plan in case DeviantArt finally croaks.

I'll slowly add stuff from my DeviantArt to Cara along with BlueSky like I did here and on Pixiv. Though I plan to also bring my memes and meme bases over there as well.

Still, DA will be my primary outlet for now unless it REALLY screws up. Yet I still have enough good will and faith in it that it can save itself, unlike Twitter.

Though I hate to have multiple outlets to maintain and keep track of, still you never know what could happen...

Decided to give Bluesky a try as a more stable & sane alternative to Twitter given how FUBAR it is thanks to Elon Musk's X fetish and lust for Russian propaganda & Donald Trump's ego.

Finished reposting my stuff from DeviantArt.

Out of the 512 deviations I posted only 164 were worthy enough to be reposted here to Newgrounds and also on Pixiv. All the rest either had very little work put into them, are fill-in memes, or stuff I personally didn't care for.

Still DeviantArt will be my prime outlet while Newgrounds and Pixiv will be additional outlets. But however anything concerning NSFW will only be posted here and on Pixiv while DA is off-limits. Inversely all my memes and literatures along with my general status posts will be DeviantArt exclusives.

After I reuploaded 95 deviations of my DeviantArt portfolio to both outlets with the last one being the Ruff-ly Different Versions deviation I came to my next major reupload; The Powerpuff Girls Repowered / Team Chemical X Timeline literature - the backbone of my entire Powerpuff Girls stuff.

Newgrounds is out of the question since their is no ability to post literatures over there at all with the only option that comes close to it being the News Posts, but even then it has a character limit of 32,768 characters - which is DEFINITELY a big problem when it comes to posting something like a timeline literature or even an episode transcript rewrite.

So that leaves Pixiv, but there is another problem. While it too has a character limit, yet much better than Newgrounds at around 300,000 characters, there are other things that are missing which is rather important; no ability to add bullet or numbered points and no typographical emphasis abilities (Bold, Italic, and Underline) at all! Case in point, my timeline literature has a bunch of bulleted points that have sub-bullet points that are further indented.

I tried copying & pasting, but that left out all the typographical emphasis elements. The only thing that sorta-worked was tab indentation, but that has its own issues that are technical; when pressing the "tab" key my web browser exits out of the text field.

This is proving to be more difficult than I wanted so for now, unless Pixiv addresses this and also Newgrounds FINALLY allows literatures, my timeline literature and all episode rewrites will not be reposted to Pixiv or Newgrounds due to such limitations. Even DeviantArt is much better at literatures than Pixiv is, and DA's been scaled back from what I understand! (If I can say something like that then you officially have no excuse!)

So for now, all of my rewrites and the timeline literature will be exclusive to DeviantArt.

As a way to build up my portfolio, and also as a way to expand my influence, I'll be reposting my old stuff from my DeviantArt account here and also to my Pixiv account.

There are some exceptions.

1. All of my fill-in memes will not be reposted, not my own bases or the ones I filled. Those will stay on DeviantArt, plus I don't think fill-in memes are welcome here. I have made remakes of memes before, so those will be reposted here given the effort I put into those unlike the fill-in memes.
2. Due to Newgrounds' lack of a literature section, all my literatures will not be reposted. Pixiv however allows those under the "novels" title so they'll get ported over there instead.
3. Many of my stuff regarding politics (I do take politics seriously for obvious reasons) will not be reposted. Some will while most won't. Which ones? You'll just have to see for yourself.

All of my reposted DeviantArt content will be marked in the descriptions and their original descriptions will be copied over along with their original post dates. I might make newer descriptions to go on top of the old ones.

So what to expect? Basically Powerpuff Girls artwork and comics.

This will take some time, and I'm in no hurry.
